December 06, 2010 at Lahore,  Castrol proudly announced their association as the official performance partner of the ICC with a unique presence at all ICC cricket events for the next five years starting with the coveted ICC World Cup 2011.Castrol Pakistan hosted an evening with top sporting personalities including the legendary Wasim Akram, who unveiled the official ICC World Cup 2011 trophy at the event; Captain of the Pakistan Women’s Cricket Team Sana Mir with her teammates Sania Iqbal, Nida Rashid, Marina Iqbal and their fielding coach Abdul Majeed were also in attendance and were honoured on stage by master of ceremonies Saima Mohsin along with Wasim Akram and the audience, who gave the team a standing ovation. PCB’s Director of Cricket Operations Zakir Khan, Mrs. Bushra Aitzaz Ahsan Chairperson of Pakistan Women Cricket and Pakistan Veteran Cricket Association (PVCA) Chief Executive Officer Ashiq Hussain Qureshi were also present at the event. The evening also included live entertainment by Ali Azmat with his band featuring renowned musicians Gumby, Omran Shafique and Kamran ‘Mannu’ Zafar and world dance performances with classical, African, flamenco and contemporary ballet influences as choreographed by Juni featuring celebrated dance artiste Nighat Chaudhry. Managing Director of Castrol at BP Pakistan, Liaqat Ali Qadri also shared a few words at the occasion on the association between Castrol and the ICC.

Faisal Rafi Pakistani producer, Percussionist, Drummer is currently working with Grammy Award winner musician, Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt. Pandit is currently performing in Pakistan. 
Faisal started as a sound engineer but now he has produced urban pop music alongside other classical projects. He was the co-producer of hit Rahat Fateh Ali Khan songs, ‘Jiya Dhadak Dhadak Jaye’ and ‘Mann Ki Lagan’. Faisal has also worked with Junoon, Rohail Hyatt, Shahi Hasan, Strings, Karavan, Gumby, Aamir Zaki as well as with the legendary Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan among various others.

He has also produced the albums of some of the young musical groups and artistes like Kaavish, Raeth, Maryam Kizalbash and Ayesha Omar and is also working with Shaheryar Mirza, Arieb Azhar and Taal Karisma.
Faisal has recently recorded a session with this artist Vishwa Mohan and sub continental legend Ustad Fateh Ali Khan. Faisal said on facebook,
“In studio recording Grammy Award winning artiste Pandit Vishwa Mohan Bhatt and Ustad Fateh Ali Khan in a historic fusion, first of its kind. A mind blowing jugulbandi of veena and vocal improvisation also featuring Ustad Bashir Khan on Tabla and Afzal Khan on harmonium.”
